About Rosewater
Rosewater gives couples a beautiful wedding website in minutes. Share how you met, the day’s schedule, travel and hotel details, your registry and an RSVP prompt — every section is a block pattern you can rearrange, duplicate or remove, and every word and photo is editable right in the WordPress page editor.
It includes a one-click demo import (six pages, a menu and the front page), page patterns for new pages, three color styles — Rosewater, Sage and Midnight — and an arched portrait image style. Self-hosted fonts, no extra JavaScript, AA color contrast and fully responsive layouts keep it fast and accessible.
Custom plugin included: Rosewater RSVP — our own free RSVP plugin, bundled in the ZIP and installed in one click. Guests reply online, you get an email for each reply, and you can export your guest list.

How to install
1. Install the theme
- Download rosewater.zip. Don’t unzip it.
- In WordPress, go to Appearance → Themes → Add New Theme → Upload Theme.
- Choose rosewater.zip, click Install Now, then Activate.
2. Import the demo and turn on RSVPs
- Go to Appearance → Rosewater setup and click Import demo content.
- This creates the Home, Our Story, The Day, Travel & Stay, Registry and RSVP pages and the menu. It also installs and activates Rosewater RSVP, our free RSVP plugin that comes inside the theme.
3. Set up your RSVP form
- In RSVPs → Settings, set your reply-by date, meal choices, the largest party size and the email that gets notified.
- Replies appear under RSVPs. Summary & export shows totals per meal and lets you download your guest list as a CSV file.
- To add the form to another page, click + in the editor and search for RSVP form.
- If notification emails don’t arrive, install an SMTP plugin such as WP Mail SMTP. Replies are always saved in the dashboard either way.
4. Make it yours
- Edit text and photos right on each page.
- Change colors and fonts in Appearance → Editor → Styles. Try the Sage and Midnight styles.
- Add sections from + → Patterns → Rosewater.
The ZIP includes INSTALL.txt with these steps.
