About Axis
Axis is a free chiropractor website template for WordPress, built for chiropractic, physiotherapy and wellness clinics. Its 16-section home page includes a hero, trust bar, conditions treated, treatments, meet-the-doctor, clinic numbers, first-visit steps, a new patient special, team, patient reviews, a featured patient story, pricing and insurance, FAQ, health tips, call to action and an appointment request form. About, Services, New patients and Contact pages are ready too.
Every section is a block pattern you can edit in the WordPress page editor — no code needed. The bundled Booking Requests plugin powers the appointment form: patients choose a reason for their visit and a preferred time, you get an email, and every request is tracked in your dashboard. Three color styles (Teal, Ocean and Forest), self-hosted fonts, AA contrast and responsive layouts keep it fast and accessible.

Booking Requests
Our own free plugin, bundled in the theme ZIP and installed in one click. It adds a booking and quote-request form block: requests are saved in your dashboard, emailed to you and exportable.

How to install
1. Install the theme
- Download axis.zip. Don’t unzip it.
- In WordPress, go to Appearance → Themes → Add New Theme → Upload Theme.
- Choose axis.zip, click Install Now, then Activate.
2. Import the demo
- Go to Appearance → Axis setup and click Import demo content.
- This creates the Home, About, Services, New patients, Contact and Health tips pages, sample posts, the menu and the front page. It also installs Booking Requests, our free booking-form plugin that comes inside the theme.
3. Set up appointment requests
- In Bookings → Settings, add your reasons for visit and preferred times and the email address that should receive new requests.
- Requests appear under Bookings. Mark each one as Contacted, Booked or Closed, and export them to CSV any time.
- To show or hide questions, click the form in the page editor and use the sidebar.
- If notification emails don’t arrive, install an SMTP plugin such as WP Mail SMTP. Requests are always saved in the dashboard either way.
4. Make it yours
- Edit text and photos right on each page — just click and type.
- Update your phone, email, address and hours in Appearance → Editor → Patterns → Header / Footer.
- Change colors and fonts in Appearance → Editor → Styles. Try the Ocean and Forest styles.
- Add more sections from + → Patterns → Axis: Sections.
The ZIP includes INSTALL.txt with these steps.
