About Poise
Poise is a free Pilates website template for WordPress, made for reformer, mat, barre and yoga studios. The 16-section home page covers everything a studio needs: hero, intro-offer banner, welcome, class cards, benefits, studio numbers, a weekly class schedule, first-visit guide, instructors, memberships, reviews, gallery, FAQ, journal, call to action and a class booking form. Classes, Schedule & pricing, About and Book pages are included too.
Every section is a block pattern you can edit in the WordPress page editor — change the timetable, prices or photos with a click. The bundled Booking Requests plugin lets new students request a class; you get an email and can track every request in the dashboard. Three color styles (Clay, Sage and Lavender), arched image styles, self-hosted fonts and responsive layouts make it fast, accessible and beautiful on every screen.
Custom plugin included: Booking Requests — our own free booking and consultation form plugin, bundled in the ZIP and installed in one click. Requests are saved in your dashboard, emailed to you and exportable to CSV.

Booking Requests
Our own free plugin, bundled in the theme ZIP and installed in one click. It adds a booking and quote-request form block: requests are saved in your dashboard, emailed to you and exportable.

How to install
1. Install the theme
- Download poise.zip. Don’t unzip it.
- In WordPress, go to Appearance → Themes → Add New Theme → Upload Theme.
- Choose poise.zip, click Install Now, then Activate.
2. Import the demo
- Go to Appearance → Poise setup and click Import demo content.
- This creates the Home, Classes, Schedule & pricing, About, Book and Journal pages, sample posts, the menu and the front page. It also installs Booking Requests, our free booking-form plugin that comes inside the theme.
3. Set up class bookings
- In Bookings → Settings, add your classes and preferred times and the email address that should receive new requests.
- Requests appear under Bookings. Mark each one as Contacted, Booked or Closed, and export them to CSV any time.
- To show or hide questions, click the form in the page editor and use the sidebar.
- If notification emails don’t arrive, install an SMTP plugin such as WP Mail SMTP. Requests are always saved in the dashboard either way.
4. Make it yours
- Edit text and photos right on each page — just click and type.
- Update your phone, email, address and hours in Appearance → Editor → Patterns → Header / Footer.
- Change colors and fonts in Appearance → Editor → Styles. Try the Sage and Lavender styles.
- Add more sections from + → Patterns → Poise: Sections.
The ZIP includes INSTALL.txt with these steps.
