Custom plugins included
Built by us, free to use and bundled inside the theme ZIP. They install in one click from the theme’s setup screen.
Booking Requests
Our own free plugin, bundled in the theme ZIP and installed in one click. It adds a booking and quote-request form block: requests are saved in your dashboard, emailed to you and exportable.
- Appointment, quote and consultation form block
- Choose the questions: phone, address / ZIP, service, date, time, message and your own extra question
- Request inbox with New / Contacted / Booked / Closed tracking
- Email notifications and optional customer confirmation
- CSV export for Excel and Google Sheets
- Spam protection without CAPTCHAs (honeypot, timing check, rate limit)
- Works with WordPress personal data export and erase tools
Quote Estimator
A price-calculator block included in the Booking Requests plugin. Visitors move a slider, pick a package and add-ons, and see an instant price range — then request an exact quote.
- Slider for size, quantity, hours or weight
- Packages with multipliers and optional add-ons
- Shows a price range (±%) or a single price
- Fully editable in the block sidebar — no code
- Fast: a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, no libraries
How to install
1. Install the theme
- Download inkwell.zip. Don’t unzip it.
- In WordPress, go to Appearance → Themes → Add New Theme → Upload Theme.
- Choose inkwell.zip, click Install Now, then Activate.
2. Import the demo
- Go to Appearance → Inkwell setup and click Import demo content.
- This creates the Home, Services, Pricing, Artwork help, About, Contact and Print tips pages, sample posts with photos, the menu and the front page. It also installs Booking Requests, our free plugin (booking form + Quote Estimator calculator) that comes inside the theme.
3. Set up your forms
- In Bookings → Settings, add your services, preferred times and the email address that should receive requests.
- Requests appear under Bookings. Mark each one as Contacted, Booked or Closed, and export them to CSV any time.
- Select the Quote estimator block in the page editor to set your own prices, slider range, packages and add-ons.
- If notification emails don’t arrive, install an SMTP plugin such as WP Mail SMTP. Requests are always saved in the dashboard either way.
4. Make it yours
- Edit text and photos right on each page — just click and type.
- Update your phone, email, address and hours in Appearance → Editor → Patterns → Header / Footer.
- Change colors and fonts in Appearance → Editor → Styles. Try the Cyan and Mono styles.
- Add more sections from + → Patterns → Inkwell: Sections.
The ZIP includes INSTALL.txt with these steps.
